DINDU NUFFIN. Let me guess, he loved architecture which is why he kept trespassing onto the construction site? I guess that explains the “jogging” in cargo shorts, needed a spot for his architectural notebook & writing instruments.

I agree. So since you keep bringing up the circumstances of this regretable shooting, and you use what some folks would view as "baiting" language, may I suggest we do this? Let's leave this sad and tragic incident to be sorted out in the Georgia Legal System.

Do you agree?

Wonder why they don't mention the high crime rate in the black culture? They can terrorize you but don't even think about fighting back if you're white. I tell you what is sad it's the two 85 year olds killed at the hands of a urban terrorist at a cemetery minding their own business. What kind of human does that?

It's ok to admit that this Arbery situation is a really shitty example of "fighting back."

At absolute best, this was unadulterated stupidity that will lead to the destruction of 3 lives, and the ruin of multiple more surrounding the incident.

you must have Immediate (first hand) knowledge

Actually that is not the law.
O.C.G.A. 17-4-60 (2010)
17-4-60. Grounds for arrest
A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge. If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion.

Article 1 - BURGLARY
§ 16-7-1 - Burglary
A person commits the offense of burglary in the first degree when, without authority and with the intent to commit a felony or theft therein, he or she enters or remains within an occupied, unoccupied, or vacant dwelling house of another or any building, vehicle, railroad car, watercraft, aircraft, or other such structure designed for use as the dwelling of another. A person who commits the offense of burglary in the first degree shall be guilty of a felony

Notice the statute does not require actually taking something or with "intent". Given there is video of the "jogger" entering the building multiple times it was reasonable for the necks to conclude he was a burglar.

Per fathers own statements to responding officers his knowledge came from seeing a security film weeks earlier and the black man running down the road appeared to resemble him

Something tells me this doesn't pass the "immediate" part.

If the offense is a felony

I think it has been stated trespassing in Georgia is not a felony. He didn't take anything so would have not been charged with a felony.

This has been hashed out here ad nauseam. Case law in Georgia indicates that “immediate knowledge” is still in-person knowledge. Hearing it from someone else doesn’t qualify as “in-person” or “immediate.” It has to be witnessed by the person making the citizens arrest.

There’s a Winn Dixie case where a store employee stopped a person who another customer had said stole from them. The Georgia court ruled that wasn’t immediate knowledge.

Just a guy.

If a Sigma Chi at LSU who got an MIP in high school and smokes pot occasionally got hit by a bus and died, the headline wouldn’t be “known criminal and drug user killed”.

Yeah, but the necks had no idea that video existed at the time when the decided to give chase.

How is it that hard to understand that in this case? These two literally saw Arbery running by and decided to give chase without know that he just in that house. The dad actually said that.

Nice deflection and strawman
how is me pointing out the hypocrisy of all of this little bullshite outrage but where is the outrage about a far bigger travesty than one incident?

It is a fact that is irrefutable that black on white murder is committed at a 10 to 1 ratio. It is also an irrefutable fact that black on white violent crime is committed and at least 25 times the rate it is committed by whites against blacks.

It's not a deflection or a straw man. I will go home record clear as day and state I do not give one flying frick about a white on black murder until the representation in those statistics is reflective of what it should be based on population percentage.

I say let them out of jail right now with a fricking apology
