It's not like Obama had mocked Trump in a roasty-type fashion or anything.

But ... that's nothing. It's not like Obama made further guarantees of mockery and such.

So, all that considered, it is unfathomable that people would think that Obama would have a vested interest that he would personally act upon to ensure that Donald Trump never become President.

Despite the easy conclusion that such an occurrence would greatly embarrass Obama, there is nothing about Obama that would indicate that he would ever, ever stoop to such levels, particuarly as sitting President.

Right?

Right?

... the guy could look us in the eye and lie with every word that came out of his peen hole without blinking an eye and with a smile on his face.

An absolute evil frick incarnate. Did more damage to this country in eight years than we may be able to overcome.

Set us on a path to eventual destruction in all likelihood.

Sunuvabitch should be prosecuted for treason, found guilty, incarcerated and eventually executed ... he has cost us many a good life.

Here is another blast from the past...

Member when THE DOJ said no evidence that Trumps wires were tapped?

Justice Department: No evidence Obama wiretapped Trump Tower - POLITICO

Who woulda thunk that the DOJ/FBI were in on it or that they would tell on themselves?

They were sure SHE WOULD WIN!

surely you're not implying that this doesn't also apply to every other person in DC, including Trump, are you?

Let's face some hard and unacceptable facts. The United States federal government, including elected, assigned and hired personnel is corrupt to its squinted eyeballs.

We are being governed by people who operate by a different moral barometer than the vast majority of the populace.

They have an apparatus in place, the media, that protects and promotes them so they don't fear repercussions.

And none of this is by accident. This has been planned and put into place over decades.

One presidential term will do little to nothing to change the way Washington operates. They might take a hit under Trump but it's more likely they won't. Regardless it's back to business as usual in a matter of time.

That's hard to consider and even harder to accept ut it's reality and we're to blame.

I'm not so sure ( about the "planned" and "not by accident")

1) Humans are corruptible
2) Disease infection is, in part, a function of exposure ( a person that is repeatedly exposed is more likely to catch than the casual)
3) When the same people have been sent back time and again...the corrupting force of power is more likely to be caught
4) We, the people, have ceded autonomy to the Fed Gov so that the std deviation of our lives' outcomes will be decreased (smooth, but constrained)
5) We, the people, send a few very smart people and a LOT of dumb ones to the governing positions.
6) The smarter (but corrupted) lead the lesser ones into setting up systems in which longevity reigns
7) We, the people, cheer for our "teams" and little changes

So, the power, corruption, and bureaucracy evolve over time. I don't give the fricksticks "credit" for the brilliance of devising this as a plan. It is the natural course of things.

That's fine but like the designed take over of education and the media by groups with a certain ideology I am equally certain that a systematic positioning of people in our government to subtly promote a long run plan has been taking place for decades.

That's probably something a bit more expansive than my original post where I just addressed corruption which I agree is a human condition and a human failing.

Great point in the OP.

Really, the same point could be made about the entire establishment, left and right.

They have never been neutral on Trump, so why should we expect them to have done anything concerning him in a neutral manner?

We can’t ever trust them.

As much as Obammy didn’t particularly like the Clintons I don’t think he would disagree off the record they were outstanding mentors for playing dirty DC politics.

Quotes form Obama's sit down with Chris Wallace, Fox News:

quote:

I’ve got to be careful because, as you know, there have been investigations, there are hearings, Congress is looking at this. And I haven’t been sorting through each and every aspect of this.

quote:

I continue to believe that she has not jeopardized America’s national security. Now what I’ve also said is that -- and she has acknowledged -- that there’s a carelessness, in terms of managing e-mails, that she has owned, and she recognizes.

quote:

I can guarantee that. And I can guarantee that, not because I give Attorney General Lynch a directive, that is institutionally how we have always operated.

I do not talk to the Attorney General about pending investigations. I do not talk to FBI directors about pending investigations. We have a strict line, and always have maintained it, previous president.

quote:

I guarantee it.

quote:

I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department, or the FBI, not just in this case, but in any case.

quote:

Guaranteed. Full stop. Nobody gets treated differently when it comes to the Justice Department, because nobody is above the law.

quote:

How many times do I have to say it, Chris? Guaranteed.

quote:

“potus wants to know everything we are doing.” -

I've seen Street Hustlers down in the Quarter with better acts than Obama's. Of course, given the polarized Ideological scenario per our Electorate, it's not surprising that the Left will champion their happy-smile Leaders...Barack and Hillary. Useful idiots and dupes are not is short supply; therein why our Founders reviled Democracy, and constructed the Constitution to define Rights as inalienable and coming from God.

"...a Republic Ma'am...for as long as you can keep it".
