Socialism is self centered.
How hypocritical is it to ask the population to produce more babies so there will be enough taxpaying people to support the growing burden of welfare??

Strange you are so interested.
Nothing better illustrates the flaws in these big government top down countries than the attempts to dictate the birth rates.
China too has population issues. After years of strict enforcement of one child rules they too are asking for more babies.
You people that want big governments with big welfare, with big protectionism, with big military and less economic freedom are fools.

Their cushy welfare system is based on oil production, isn't it? I would figure a smaller population would be more advantageous for better/more welfare
