I don't think he understands how this works. Trump isn't the crappy presidents of the past that give you stuff in the hopes of you stopping. Either you can stop on your own accord, or else.

This is disappointing. I don’t blame Trump for trying in Singapore but he got played hard. They have zero interest in really working with us and it’s time to hammer them with sanctions.
