What a pussy.
When we were little and school started we always had a tropical storm where we would get out of school for a few days. It was a right of passage.
We would be playing basketball or tackle football in the mud enjoying our time off from school. The cool days with light rain along with the wind made it a great August day off from school.

I hate Dumbasses who move to Louisiana, think New Orleans is the sum total of the state, decide our native culture is beneath them (despite the wealth of food, literature, music and natural resources we provide), and then last but not least act surprised that there are hurricanes. What's interesting is he mentions the river height at this time of the year, the warming alarmists have for years been telling us the AGW would cause droughts in the midwest not the opposite, I am confused.....
