No I don't consider that research at all. I consider the guy who does research to have done research. I will ask him your 'gotcha' question if you're brave enough to ask an actual scientist outside of this echo chamber board.

It's what I call playing percentages. You're just wanting to argue it seems. I gave you a question.

I mean do you want me to add the stupid part about the falcons at the end? Seems kinda unscientific to me.

Can you ask them what the temperature was on January 16th, 1371? High and Lows, please. Also the amount of rainfall or frozen precipitation that fell that day as well.

You shouldn't make assumptions about what I read or who I talk to.
And it's not a gotcha question. YOU are the one who cited the fisherman story as meaningful. I didn't make you do that.

I'm also the one about to talk to a climate scientist and you won't even touch the issue because you don't want to know a good answer.

A weather question, sure. Not climate but I'll try.

Oh. So now it's your assertion that a solid form of "research" is for me to ask an anonymous person to ask ONE climate scientist a question during a conversation I cannot even very will happen.
Meanwhile, I shold trust someone on this when their initial response in this thread was to cite some fisherman story as evidence.
Yeah. That sounds smart.

He's still in high school guys, waste of key stokes. Of course the make up data, were pirates out taking temps on the seven seas a hundred years ago? For that matter, were the Indians, those that the evil white man screwed over, grabbing temp points in North America 200 years ago? 95% of the historic data is made up by models. But science...

Congratulations! Another successful hijack has occurred.

Is he one of the ones doctoring the data?

So they are seeing huge lifestyle changes due to a ~1.5 degree increase in average temperature since 1880 (quick Google search, so not sure on exact number)?
I don't deny the climate is changing. I don't deny we may have ever some part. I am just very skeptical of the politics involved. We've convinced so many people. Had someone last week complaining about global warming because of the temperature outside in February. My immediate thought was, "would in feel better to you if it was 73.5 outside instead of 75? Would only notice?". Again not saying it's not a huge issue. Just that we've beaten it into people's heads that the problem exists, and you have people making dumb comments like that. About as du a comment as deniers making a thread eeverytime that's below freezing to claim GW isn't real.
I just find it sad that this is somehow a biased issue.

How does that even even fit here?

This.
Anytime a major SCIENTIFIC "issue" is pushed by a Politician, and that politician becomes a BILLIONAIRE off of it, you should ask questions.
NONE of Al Gore's predictions (that no one could question) came true. NONE. But since Al is a Democrat, he's a good kind of billionaire, you know, since he is attempting to drain the US tax payer and spread the wealth.
A scientific problem with political solutions will always lose my interest.

'm about to head to the natural history museum in London, anything you morons want me to ask them since you won't actually persue any real research on this issue on your own?
Do climate scientists have a booth or something at the museum? Do they just hang around there?
Never been to that museum. I've been to a couple here in the states and don't recall seeing a climate scientist question booth.

Here's why I don't trust scientist completely with their theories - God only knows how many years that scientists espoused that there are only nine planets . Now, they've dropped Pluto and claim there are other planets out there also.
So, the scientist of today are saying the scientists of yesterday are liars.
