This is correct. With the strategy seemingly changing daily it keeps the experts hopping and trying to figure the long game.

So recession is the only cure your tiny brain can conceive? If this is ALL you can think of to solve fiscal problems in this country, the stupidity doesn’t reside with those of us calling these tariffs and the “need for a recession” asinine.

So how else are rates going to be lowered in 12mnths?

You of course cannot provide an answer. You realize the issues we will have if thats not fixed

That's a different question, and I don't know.

The debt comes due on a schedule. What is the time period of that schedule? I don't know I'm asking.

Jesus Christ, it’s not that hard. If YOU had debt to be serviced that was going to balloon on you in a year, what would YOU do?

The reality is that DoD and entitlement spending reform is what is truly needed, not a recession. And no one in Washington will do anything about these including Trump.

So, you don’t think the current administration is attempting to aggressively reform spending?

Not if you understand economics. Recessions are a healthy part of REAL economies

On a personal level, that’s what you would do? You would cause a recession? No, you would cut spending.

BUT, if your argument is that Trump is doing this to service the debt, why will he not just say that? Come right out and tell the people that a recession is necessary to lower rates so we can service our debt. Because the reality is, that’s just a band-aid. IF that is what you are trying to do, you have to tell people that and then you STILL have to tackle entitlements and kill spending.

It’s like Trump didn’t have four years before this to deal with any of these problems.

A recession will lead to more "Donny Dollars" (stimulus) which we do not want.

We still havent recovered from 2020

So you have no answer just Orange bad?

Thats your plan?

Bessent said they will crash the stock market to get ppl to run to bonds to lower the 10yr yield

GDP 1st quatter will be negative. UE just went up. Inflation is much lower

Now a full 1pt cut is in the making (like I predicted)

The faster this happens the faster recovery can happen. And they have till the midterms to do it
