You're probably my favorite poster on here and I really respect you. Just curious about your take on this. Is there any situation where you feel LE is justified in taking a person's firearm?

You live in NC?

You're a Yankee. Mind your own business.

I think there are strong, competent and politically connected gun rights activist groups in this country that act as really effective watchdogs for gun owners in this country.

Well if that is the case, why is this even happening?

I took that advice from a SWAT team member.

Our team and I too. Till Hornady came out and did some demonstrations. They insisted that we mix up our own ballistic gel too. Impressive, was the word of the day. Especially for their duty loads. I have some stuff for my .308 that will slice through a car and the poor bastard wearing body armor behind it now.

Thanks

I know academy, Jim's, and cabellas can't keep home defense on the shelves right now. But I searched in BR and found lots of new stores that I've never heard of.

Eta: they taught my CC course. It was great to hear it from a law enforcement side. I have much respect for the SWAT guys. As long as they don't shoot dogs.

I guess I should've clarified. I think the 2A amendment defense orgs are strong enough to defend against frivolous and politically motivated seizures.

I'm ok with it if they will also seize the property of any thug bragging about illegal activity online or anywhere else.

Or any rapper talking about killing people. Art? Or threat?

You never see them raid homes based off of WorldStar. If I'm wrong, Libs, link me.

Im in the People's Republic of Asheville. It's a gun free zone. God's Country. Jesus wouldn't have carried a handgun.

I've never heard of most of these places.

I hope that I never have to use my home defense ammo. I've only shot about 50 rounds of good ammo through my gun. I'm still buying it up any time I see it though.

Do you know what federal agents, BATF guys, call those who love and collect guns?

"Gun figs."

That's what they think of your Second Amendment rights.

"Gun figs."

To go one step further, why do those even have to exist?

Mass shootings only happen in gun free zones.

Just saying.

And law-abiding, legal gun owners aren't the ones committing mass shootings.

Just in case you guys were wondering how important the 2016 Presidential election happens to be, when the next President is sworn in, 3 Supreme Court justices will be in their 80s and another will be 79.

A two term President taking office in 2016 will likely replace almost half of SCOTUS.

The 2nd Amendment is dead if a Democrat fills those vacancies.

Actually, they're a bunch of dickwads who can't properly perform a search and seizure without getting their asses kicked and calling in more Feds for backup.

See Waco.

Imagine Waco being the entire state. The Feds don't have public support on this one. The only reason that they did then is because the word "cult" was thrown around. And even then, most people thought they were wrong. Everyone is tired of their shite.
