Most of the line guys are decent people. Especially those that came from local beginnings. When I interned with the Secret Service years ago one line by the ASAIC stuck with me. "They can do their job without us. We CANNOT do our job without them." Being local for almost twelve years now I've seen that hold true numerous times.

I'm fine with convicted violent felons, mentally disabled and people who show signs of a mental illness/handicap not being allowed to own guns. That's a reasonable collective public health interest.
LE can take away guns on the spot in the event of a crime and seizure of assets.
This is just bureaucratic red tape designed to put gov't possession of the privately owned gun into a never ending time loop, thus a de facto gun confiscation. I'm much more comfortable with the gov't saying we're going to take the gun or we're not. It's much more honest that way.

Too bad the blue states have the most electoral votes. 
Hopefully the Dems are pissing California off enough for them to turn. I doubt it, but it's nice to wish.

I'm sure there are good ones. But I've heard some refer to US citizens as "animals". My aunt was married to one. He was an alcoholic, wife beating, pos.
The good ones won't show up in riot gear to defend illegal immigrants against the citizens that pay their salaries. At some point, you have to stand up for what you believe in.

Hypocrites. I know one that had a vast collection of legal and illegal firearms prior to going to Quantico. Even illegally converted some to full auto for some folks. Now he's arresting people for the same shite. Talk about some bullshite. I've known him since I was 12. I would like to think if push came to shove, he's convert back to his roots and help out "the cause".
