She was selling her power upon her winning the presidency. See the movie Clinton Cash to see how she benefited from her Secretary of State gig.

No way, Hillary would never do anything like that. She has served her country very well.

Content of those speeches doesn’t matter. It was her turn.

Forget about her lack of message or policies. Her turn.

You’re really out in front of this story aren’t you Fox?

Did you really think that they were paying $500k for substance? It’s not like she does impersonations or card tricks. Bitch probably can’t even smash a watermelon.

Of course she was selling influence. They all do. Are you naive enough to believe that Trump, Ivanka, Jared, Jr, and Eric aren't (and won't in the future) using the office to their advantage financially and business wise? Do you honestly believe that Trump isn't using Mar a Lago to meet with/talk to people that he doesn't want showing up on the White House visitors list? Do you honestly believe that Jr and Eric aren't inviting potential customers, investors, etc to Mar a Lago in order to introduce them to the Donald?

Hell, why do you think so many large corporations trip over each other to get ex-POTUSes and retired Senators on their board of directors after leaving office? Do you think it's their vast business experience?

What about campaign and PAC contributions? Do you really think the people that donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to a candidate don't expect anything in return?

Do you really believe that Jeff Sessions being AG after being one of the first Senators to endorse Trump is purely coincidence? Making a deal to endorse a candidate in exchange for a job in the administration is absolutely selling influence. It's not like Sessions would have the job if he had quietly told Trump he would vote for him but wouldn't endorse him because it might influence other voters.

The issue really boils down to who is it that they are leasing their influence to and what are they trying to accomplish.

No need. Do you know what their last name is? They are already rich and powerful. Don’t be obtuse

Maybe with presidents of old your argument holds true. Trump is a very successful business man with a made brand. He doesn’t need the headache. Especially with ungrateful citizens that don’t appreciate the dawn of a new prosperity. For everyone.

Poor liberals. So miserable... I don’t get it

How much are her speeches worth today???

If not peddling influence, then they should be worth the same = right??

The first undeniable clue of her corruption was the collapse of the donations to the Clinton foundations from foreign entities after her defeat.

IF those charities were really on the up-and-up, then the contribution should dramatically INCREASE since she has complete freedom and unlimited time to devote to its management and direction.

The Clintons are the most corrupt family in history - absolutely ZERO accomplishments other than political power - and they have become multi-millionaires. Doing what?? ==== selling political favors.

Obama was corrupt - but his corruption more like a mafia organization = eliminating enemies and spreading political dogma rather than drugs, etc..

I can't figure out who would possibly still be paying her to do this and why.

By her own admission they left the White House "Dead Broke". 15 years later as an employee of the federal government and with Bill giving speeches they managed to accumulate over $200,000,000.00... 200 Million... in personal net wealth and we aren't even adding Chelsea's net wealth up.

Now granted her and Bill might be some kind of investment geniuses. However, the evidence is against this. After all, after 8 years in the White House with virtually no expenses at all... no travel, no insurance, no clothing, no transport costs, no vacation costs, no security costs, no communications costs, etc...etc.. no nothing at all. They left dead broke and looted on the way out.

Very little doubt they were selling the only valuable thing they had. ACCESS.
