Retired Claims Adjuster. I worked many fire claims ( commercial & residential) and brought in several forensic engineers over the years and that is coming from them. We had a few fires we know was arsonist (red flags) but could not prove it was arson. We had one restaurant after Hurricane Opal that was flooded with 5 feet of water and burnt down after the water receded & the building had no electricity and no gas. One was the old Crab Shack that was not elevated. After it was burnt down the owners built a new one elevated. My engineer reported he was working on several suspected fires that he couldn't prove was arson.

They could legitimate have a closed circuit cam from inside the house that shows them leaving the gas stove on aro7nd some towels and igniting the fire , yet leftists will still say " well, but what about the Democratic judge whose house burned down"?

You couldn't prove it was arson or you couldn't prove who was the arsonist? I think the second is the common occurence. You can ask the obvious question of who stands to get paid but that isn't evidence in itself. Even though it's very likely on the money
