I was born into a very poor childhood and slowly moved up to middle class by age 30. I'm content with that. However, if I was a young man today I'd have trouble finding a modern girl to marry. I keep seeing mediocre looking 20-somethings saying they won't settle for a man who doesn't make at least $300K a year.

Right…only YOU know what makes you truly happy & satisfied.
There are people out there with a nice bank acct. that don’t care to express that in where they live & what they drive.
