MeeMaw follows FL lead…great news!

One key provision below I love. Especially with a daughter about to enroll at Auburn.

“The law, set to take effect on October 1, also requires public universities to designate bathrooms based on biological sex, not preferred gender identity.”

Doesn't stop them from having DEI. All it says is taxpayers won't fund it. These unis will just take Soros money and continue on with it.

The bill also states that public schools and universities can fire people who teach divisive concepts, but we all know they won't fire anyone.

Compliance with the law is probably required in order for them to get public funding.

George Soros is not going to fund all of Auburn University.

You might be right but it’s better than nothing I suppose.

Auburn is probably the most conservative school in the sec and I am hoping leadership their sees this as differentiator

There are plenty of left/liberal schools out there to attend ….why have the same policies as 95% of the other schools in highly competitive recruiting environment

Lots of parents out there that want to send their kids to school and not have their child come back 4 years later only to hate their upbringing.

State of AL having this law can only help not hurt at this point

Should be the law of the land. Remove govt monies from schools that support anything "equitable"
