The Europeans are in a very tight spot. They sold their collective souls to Putin in order to appease their anti-fossil fuel left-wing constituents. They will now have to face their angry, and soon to be cold and miserable, non-crazy citizens. I have no empathy for woke stupidity.
Chickens coming home to roost.

The threat of power rationing across Europe persists even after EU officials held an emergency meeting last week to starve off the impending winter energy crisis. EU countries have increasingly relied on US energy imports, though shale bosses warned the ability to boost oil and gas supplies would be challenging.
"It's not like the US can pump a bunch more. Our production is what it is," Wil VanLoh, head of private equity group Quantum Energy Partners, one of the shale's most prominent investors, told Financial Times.

"There's no bailout coming," VanLoh added.
"Not on the oil side, not on the gas side.

Europe can thank the Democrats and the Biden administration for their war against crushing the US energy industry that led to massive divestments across the sector, which crippled oil production growth and refining capacity, and pressured/shamed the world into withdrawing any capital allocations to fossil fuels.

There was a report out earlier this week and the Euros are going to have to use no less than 7% less natural gas than they did last year to make it through the winter. They’re going to push for a 15% reduction though.

Leftist European countries can freeze this winter. Let their renewables keep them warm.

It's incredible that the US could've just ramped up Oil and NG production and been swimming in an unprecedented fiscal economy right now during this time of global energy demand.

Instead, we put the thumb on petroleum companies and restrict them into oblivion.

Meanwhile, Putin sits at the chess board smiling, knowing he has much of Europe by the balls, and doubly knowing that the USA has put themselves in a position to not be a savior.

It's almost as if this has been carefully planned out and executed...

while the europeans feel like they have prepared for the winter by filling energy storage to 90%.

Storage in Europe is designed to smooth out short term misc supply disconnects.

Storage in the US petroleum reserve is/was strategic for war,emp broad long term outages

The difference is volume, lots of it

The restriction to increasing US Oil & Gas production from Fracking has mostly been the issues with:

-Supply chain (Frack quality sand, casing and global shortages in polymers that make compounds that go into rubber seals)and

-People (getting experienced crews back from COVID layoffs and finding new hires to backfill crews).

ALSO

Putin has just been burring off excess natural gas instead of sending it down the pipeline to Europe.

BUT

Putin may come out good in the short term by sticking it to the Europeans, but he has lost all trust from his best "customers" for Russian Oil and Gas. Europe will never trust Putin again. When they find alternate suppliers of energy, they will NEVER go back to Putin/Russia. Russia is going to tank harder than ever in the coming years.

If they are cheaper, they will buy from Russia. Period. If they were smart, they would still buy some from other sources to keep alternate supply avenues open, but this is going to end at some point and they will be back to buying gas from Russia because someone in power will stand to make a lot of money from it.

A government that would do that to their own people need to be replaced by the people not through election but by demand!

Ive been saying this for months. Why not export to the EU? it makes zero sense unless you look at the actions of the admin.

Regulations are making it difficult to obtain development capital for smaller, more flexible producers.

Well, they laughed at Trump for warning them so I'm not so sure they won't crawl back to Putin for the long run.

There are absolutely U.S. barrels being exported to countries in Europe.

Europeans are idiots controlled by the globalists. But if they are smart they will buy from us once we get a good president in office.

-Europe is now looking at fracking. For example, the UK has just lifted the ban on fracking. The EU are reexamining coal and nuclear as well. It will take a couple of years to get this up and running, but they will. The US is ramping up fracking and should go from 260 horizontal fleets for Q2 2022 to about 275 by end of 2022.

Some of you dont understand what is going to happen. The TRUST in Putin and Russia is GONE. The EU is going to suffer massively this winter and next. They will never go back to a full reliance on Russian energy. The may buy some. But they will replace their unreliable supplier as fast as they can. The EU is pissed off at Putin. This winter for them is going to be horrible.
