That is total bullshite.

Christie better not only fire someone from his staff but also bring charges against them.

Don't know what the indictment should say, but it has to be illegal to close off traffic lanes without a legitimate reason, especially for a nefarious reason.

Christie is finished if he doesn't come down like a ton of bricks on this bastard.

How about just a ton of Christie. Christie better know that if he knew about this before today and claimed to not know, he is done, done, done......

A lot of people probably lots a small amount of money each. and that = a lot of money lost over some bullshite.

But who the frick knows if Christie was even aware or involved. Have to wait and see. If he ordered it, ooh, that ain't good.

If he fires them, they will out him....

There's no fricking way that Christie wasn't aware of this

Right. Might as well just let me get it out of the way now:

This.

However...

...this too. I guess it all depends on how much longer Christie wants to indulge this pipe dream. Might be time for the publicist to start arranging for the inevitable transition to cable news and/or AM radio.

He should just come out and say "What difference does it make?"

The Christie haters are out in full force I see.

Although, there is zero chance he didn't know about it if his top aides are emailing and bragging about how they ordered the closure. Christie runs a tight ship in NJ so there is no way someone just went "rogue" in his administration. If there isn't a fall guy then he is politically dead in local and national politics.

Christie is asking one of his aides right now to take the fall for him.

Let's put this into perspective... Christie's team took revenge on Ft. Lee because its mayor wouldn't endorse him even when a lot of folks in Ft. Lee vote Republican and when Christie was up by 30 points in the polls, anyway.

Denial works damn good for Obama.

Is Christie that much more capable than Obama and that's why it won't work for him?

Well, Dick Cheney was his mentor. Surprised he didn't take him out hunting and shoot him in the face with bird shot.

But yes, this type of overreaction when a D doesn't endorse him in a runaway election? Yikes.
