No, you're looking like a liar because despite claiming you don't have a dog in the hunt and are just "stating facts", after being shown that Nintendo's vision for Vivian was a boy who claimed to be a girl but really is a boy, you're still trying to argue he's transgender.

If trans people really aren't the opposite gender, why are we letting them switch showers, sports leagues, prisons, etc?

The trans position is that trans women are women. Not that trans women really are men who think they're women.

If you "know" that Vivian, a tertiary Mario character from 2 decades ago, is really transgender, you know what transgenderism really is.

This is just a flat out lie. Multiple Japanese speakers on Twitter, YouTube , and more have debunked your nonsense. The original character wasn’t trans because that’s a mental illness. He was what we might refer to in the west as a femboy but in Japanese culture these types of things have many different names with tiny variations between them, but alas he was still a man and knew he was a man.

Call them weird if you wish but taken in totality they have undoubtedly the worlds most desirable culture at this time.

Its a made up identity. There is nothing real about it unless they fully commit.

Might be that the remake's characterization was done in an era where LGBTQ+ is heavily politicized (and capitalized on by the Biden admin here in USA, and the Trudeau admin in Canada as well).
