To “save the country”? The republicans are in on this impeachment bullshite and they are going to get rid of trump.

What they meant was to save their fricking corrupt deals they have cut.

I'm beginning to believe this and we are going to find out quickly. But I don't think it is all about "corrupt deals". There are such a wide array of Trump detractors we are going to find out that working in his administration was like rodeo bull riding as opposed to a Carnival Cruise if you know what I mean.

Mattis worked for SecDef too, along with a whole lot of other military personnel. Are we to consider every career military person serving Pentagon duty as Deep State?

I support Trump but he does not do himself any favors with his style and undercutting his cabinet with pronouncements that sometimes run counter to statements made previously. Plus he cannot be forgiven for not firing everyone he could and reassigning people in the first week of the administration. He should have had that plan in place.

I work for SecDef if we want to get into the nitty gritty. Mattis never held a post at the Pentagon and never served as a senior military assistant to SECDEF like Kelly did. The closest he came to working at the Pentagon was when he was the head of Joint Forces Command out of Norfolk.

I'm pretty sure Mattis was an assistant military attache' or advisor (not sure of the exact designation) when he was a colonel on Rumsfeld's (maybe Gates') staff after the Persian Gulf war and before Afghanistan.

I just read his book a couple of weeks ago and I'm positive he worked at the Pentagon for a SecDef's staff.

I think this is another 4D chess move.

The running theme of the "impeachment" storyline is bureaucrats upset over "breaking" Foreign Policy.

Then here is Nikki Haley getting worldwide coverage with her story expressing; "The POTUS sets the policy, accept it, ask for change, or quit."

National News is running these 2 back-to-back. Upset employees crying and Haley saying employees accept it or quit.

POTUS 4D'd them again.

If Trump tried getting this message out himself it gets ignored. Now his message gets 24/7 coverage for a long Holiday weekend.

She's just trying to make herself seem important.

Like Tillerson and Kelly would think it would be so important to have her on board.
