I don't give a rats arse about the NFL, but it is good t see this HIPAA argument hit the news. I have been saying this over and over ever since woke companies started threatening employees and then punishing the unvaccinated by telling them they had to wear a mask or putting pins on the vaccinated to show they got it.

Where is HIPAA? (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and the patient health privacy laws?

Kudos to Dak Prescott.

HIPAA has nothing to do with someone asking you your health information and you voluntarily disclosing it.

Well it actually doesn't violate HIPAA BUT I do wonder what will happen to him if anything, if he doesn't take it? OR if he doesn't ever disclose his shot status??

Only 51% of the black population is vaccinated. So clearly half don’t want to take the shot but only white republicans not wanting to take it are the problem.

Hipaa applies to covered entities only.

An employer has to keep health info as confidential as possible but can disclose on a need to know basis for purposes of enforcing policies.

The funny thing is the NFL discloses knee injuries and hernias and shite all the time

Employers are allowed to do whatever they want other than give your information to someone else after obtaining it.

Yes ... doctor's offices can't give info about their patients unless said patient has listed you on their privacy/HIPAA form.

This is right.
There are other laws that a dissenter could explore. This isn’t the one.
The first thing a non-vaccinated person should do is simply decline to disclose to their employer if they are vaccinated.

Definitely not a HIPAA issue but good for him for keeping that private

The government has ruled that a vaccination isn’t covered by HIPAA.

Interesting point. There’s probably language about that in the CBA. I guess vax status is in there too.

Well a vikings coach was forced to quit because of it. Methinks that violates HIPAA. Though I’m admittedly ignorant to the story.

I’m not sure there’s much recourse after that judge in Texas said that hospital could fire unvaccinated employees, but I’m admittedly not up to speed on many employee rights laws.

When in reality the problem is the 180,000 illegal aliens coming over the border EVERY MONTH. Thats 2 million in a year. (Its actually an invasion and should be treated as such.)

And to make matters worse former vice president Joe Bidens administration is shipping them all over the country, spreading the infection everywhere.

Yeah. The Borg has spoken and the Borg will shut off routes of non-compliance.

The hell. When you freaking pressure people for their information it does.

No. It predates Covid.

Things are getting ready to go back to mask mandates here in St. Louis county just in time for school starting back up.

Someone is going to have to do something drastic.
