B&G Foods, the maker of Cream of Wheat, announced Thursday that it would be reviewing the packaging of the longtime breakfast brand, the latest food company to do so after Quaker announced earlier in the week that it was retiring its Aunt Jemima logo because of its racist origins.
Since 1893, Cream of Wheat's logo has featured a smiling Black chef, not dissimilar to the Aunt Jemima logo, which featured a smiling Black woman.
"We understand there are concerns regarding the Chef image, and we are committed to evaluating our packaging and will proactively take steps to ensure that we and our brands do not inadvertently contribute to systemic racism," B&G said in a statement. "B&G Foods unequivocally stands against prejudice and injustice of any kind." LINK

So, when we remove all these black people from products won't there be a complaint: 'There are no black people on packages.'
Are they gonna put a pic of Beyonce on Cream of Wheat?

One solution would be to replace these images with logos depicting angry black men and women. Cast Samuel L. Jackson as the new Uncle Ben, perhaps...

What's racist about an image of a black chef?
In a few weeks after they remove the images of Uncle Ben, Aunt Jemima, Cream of Wheat, and whatever other products had similar images, the next outcry will be "why are there only images of white people on food packaging?"

The whitewashing of all American made products continues.
How long before they complain about a lack of diversity in US sold products?
