I’m not so sure about that, he overplayed his hand. But in the same vein of what you’re saying, it gives some support to Trump not giving in to whatever it is Elon is lobbying for. If he is trying to hold him hostage now, Trump has to pass the tax cuts while he has the chance before midterms when Elon can be a bigger distraction.
I just don’t understand why Elon alienated himself so much. Yes, he still has Twitter, but he doesn’t have many friends in Washington left

I don’t even like the BBB, but he doesn’t have a supermajority of MAGA in congress so how else would he get something passed?
Trump has the base, the brand and the WH but let’s be clear: 90% of Congress is GOPe and in 2025 no Democrats would cross the aisle to vote to cure cancer, so he’s going to have to play ball.
The GOP in 2025 is a coalition party like you’d see in a European Parliament yet everyone wants to pretend it’s 100% because there’s a red elephant next to everyone’s name on Fox News.
Lyndsay and Mitch aren’t part of the same party as MTG or Anna Paulina Luna, they just vote together when it suits their agenda.

Exactly. Bunch of crybaby liars. The circumstances with the Congressional make-up and Senate leadership, require some compromise. The GOPe RINOs that control Congress are not going to pass the bill the Ronbot/Massief@gs demand to be passed. So, do you want to pass ANY meaningful legislation? Or do you want to pass NO meaningful legislation by taking an all-or-nothing stance? When you have time to come to fight on those and make gains over the next few years... It's just the TDS nerds who look for any little thing to lash out and skyscream about Trump and Trump supporters. They're broken.
