It really makes me wonder why they would be going after their DNA like that. I know they're saying they think her father might have lied about who he was to secure refugee status.

Yeah, I mean, we heard about the raid on the DC residence, but they're saying now that they executed search warrants on a dozen different places simultaneously and that those places extend far beyond DC.

They do the dumpster diving thing before they secure search warrants. They likely use whatever they find in the trash to GET the warrants.

Or she based her life off of that person, as her dad, and dna doesn’t match at all. Wouldn’t be shocked if she wasn’t a complete fraud.

Right. Something like that. They have also been saying that her "father" never became a naturalized citizen. This in addition to her changing her birthdate to make herself appear one year younger than she really is so she could derive citizenship through him. It sounds like they're investigating whether it's like you say and she isn't just a total fraud with a made up name and all.
Considering the circumstances of her immigration here, it wouldn't have been hard for someone to just assume a completely fictitious identity. She was fleeing a collapsed government and processed through a camp in Kenya. It was all word of mouth shite in regards to who they were, how old they were, etc.
