Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), who has represented parts of New York City since 1993, said in an interview with the New York Times editorial board published Saturday that President Biden is "not running again" in 2024.

The exchange about Biden began when Randolph asked Maloney whether Biden should run for a second term. "Off the record, he's not running again," Maloney said. She did not specify how she knew Biden would not seek a second term in 2024.

"Not off the record. On the record," journalist Jyoti Thottam insisted. According to the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, journalistic ethics stipulate that a source cannot unilaterally go off the record.
The reporter must agree.

New York Times then went and endorsed Nadler

He would be damn near 90 in 2029 when his term would end. He ain’t running baw. Will be hilarious if he’s so senile he bucks them about it.

Did you see last week where he tried to shake hands with Schumer three seconds after he had just done so? He has no idea where he is.

I mean the guy can’t put on a jacket, continues to shake hands with air, wanders around like he is lost, can barely read a teleprompter, and can’t seem to shake something as benign as Covid and people think he could run again?

It's happened like three times within a month.

It’s unlikely Biden is alive in 2024. If he is, he will be under 24 hour nursing care.

As soon as Biden officially announces he’s not running again, he will be permanently retired to the basement for the rest of his term

That seems like a shitty thing for a reporter to do. That kind of BS will burn a lot of bridges with potential interviewees.

That said, anyone with a brain knows Biden isn’t running again.

LOL. Nothing is coming out here that they don’t want.

The NY Times has been doing nothing but presenting a pre approved script for probably 20+ years.

that's a relief.

after the 22 we can handicap the field.

no one I liked best ever even won the nomination.

guys like to blame me for whatever result or attribute some position to me.
people I liked best got 4% in the primary.

Does it matter who or what the Donkey Party runs as "President"? Or whether they are CGI image or embalmed?

Just prop Brandon, Nadler (??) or King Tut up at the studio podium, roll the teleprompter and their Hood Ornament in Chief (D) is good to go.
