YOu still have to explain fat Republican States like West Virginia.
If democrats are thin and republicans are fat, why did west virginia vote for dukakis, clinton twice, by huge margins?

Obesity is based on the amount of sugar and processed food in a person's diet and the amount of exercise a person gets. We do horribly on both in our country. It has little to do with affordability of food. Who thought that it did?

This.

And where does a lot of this start?

With that flipping Pyramid our good ole govt set up decades ago. That shite is upside down.

Why are you living in the past? Are you saying that West Virginia is a swing state? It's one of the biggest backers of Trump.

You are the one claiming that weight is correlated with political party.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with eating carbohydrates provided you actually get your heart rate above the resting rate occasionally.

There are no good carbs if you live a completely sedentary life.
Carbs are terrible for long-term health - particularly in the quantities that have been recommended as the "base" of the food pyramid.

Dr. Sturm [lead author of the Rand study] found no relationship between what type of food students said they ate, what they weighed, and the type of food within a mile and a half of their homes. He has also completed a national study of middle school students, with the same result — no consistent relationship between what the students ate and the type of food nearby.

Yeah, well, what did Dr. Drang have to say?
