So I am just curious... Are the NM Police going to start frisking people to make sure that they aren't carrying?

BTW--- It was a Democrat Governor that did it... Maybe she should talk to this woman. Who is a Democrat and I bet that she will be packing heat from this day forward.

After suspending the right to carry firearms, New Mexico’s Governor just said her duty to uphold her oath to the constitution is "not absolute"

That's a new one.. When she took her oath was it adjusted for her?

Yep…so since the referenced crimes involved gunfire and were all committed during violent felony acts in the most dangerous city in a crappy state, let’s make an unlawful “emergency order” that they’re already admitting won’t have compliance by the same clowns causing the so called “emergency”…BUT…the law abiding citizens in ALBQ will be even more defenseless because like good slaves, they’ll leave their firearm locked in the car where it’s useless.

Yet you support the son of a postman and his Bush clan ilk which would not hesitate to do this same thing.

Patently unconstitutional. The governor should be impeached and removed.

Civil disobedience is the only answer.

Every law-abiding citizen of New Mexico that owns a sidearm needs to strap up and carry in public. They couldn’t arrest all of them. It’s legally dubious as to whether they could arrest any of them.

Reality says otherwise.

You know who has done something like this before?

Elected officials back in 2020 didn't have the authority to do half the shite they did. Covid was the trial run with an added bonus of taking out the "literal Hitler" that curiously presided over the bullshite. Guns and climate change measures are the real deal.

Actually he didn’t. He simply says he has reservations. He’s trying to cover his arse.

On this sort of scale, it was proven to work only with people being scared shitless of COVID (and then that fear being hyped by the government and the media).

This isn't that and more and more people are now gun-shy (heh!) about government over-reach as more and more becomes known as to the depth our federal government has been willing to go to in order to attempt to flout the Bill of Rights.
