I laugh at Bernie all the time but a whole lot of people don't support him for handouts, they support him because they see a broken system that props up failing banks, failing insurance companies, and international interests while American workers are stagnant.

Let me help: why should people work if they can get free food and healthcare from the gov? Answer: they won’t.
After 4 years of Bernie policies, unemployment probably somewhere north of 7% and rising.
Which pressures government coffers, as well as the wealthy who pay more.
Wealth flees. Coffers dry. US approaches collapse.

Our economy would look a lot more like France's. 60-70% top tax rates and 9-10% unemployment.
It absolutely flabbergasts me that some people would prefer that the government control more of our money and day to day lives.
