And good fricking luck sustaining a murder conviction in that light.
The video confirms they committed aggravated assault, and in Georgia when a death occurs during the commission of AA the individual is then guilty of murder by definition.
Arbery charging him is irrelevant because any self defense claim is already null and void at that point.

There were multiple trespasses on the property. But the one that seems to bother the neighborhood is the black guy. I say seems because I don’t have perfect knowledge of the situation. But it appears that the neighborhood is very concerned with the black guy trespassing and not the couple.
I don't have first hand knowledge either, but I'm betting if the couple had been chased down with guns the board would react in a completely different manner.
I could be wrong, of course, and we'll never know because it didn't happen that way. But if I had to bet, I'd bet the house.

There’s no monolithic “the board.” But the same posters who are sure Arbery is a hardened criminal might not be as quick to judge a white couple. One poster on the OT blithely remarked “I assume they have something to do with the remodel.” Unpack the assumptions in those 10 words.

Not sure why that’s funny. He points the shotgun at Arbery before Arbery runs up the right side of the truck.
Not only that, but brandishing with threatening intent nor AA in Georgia requires the gun be pointed at someone.

I've seen the HD version.
No you haven't, unless you work for the prosecutors office
What has been shared is the Phone Sharable version. The Prosecutor will take it and produce it in true high definition.
Moreover, there was a slow motion of the shared video posted here the other day, you can plainly see, if only briefly, Travis raising the shotgun and pointing it straight at Arbery.
Once this is made into HD still frames its its goodbye to the bullshite self defense claims

Real upstanding family, those McMichaels....
What do they have to do with Trayvon Martin? Michael Smith? That lifetime criminal in Baltimore? Alton Lister? Who was obviously higher than a kite during his police encounter, otherwise your girl Loretta Lynch would've gladly released his CLEAN toxicology report.
If it makes you feel better to perpetually virtue-signal for these 2-bit thugs, then by all means keep knocking yourself out.

Nah.
It's about otherness on the basis of race.

I am aware of that, it just erases any of the bullshite justification these bozos keep throwing out there

That’s certainly a key factor. But if he was wearing jeans and a blazer and ran out and hopped into a Honda Accord, I would bet that the otherness factor goes down.

Not a fricking thing, nor does the killing of Arbery.
You are bringing all that other shite into this, not me

Happy to mea culpa
I've seen the version posted that is much higher definition than the original blurry assed shite.
Apparently, there will be a higher version.

bullshite. The clear implication of threads like this is the guy deserved it. Just like the threads about the construction site. Just like the threads about the imaginary Timberlands.
I've yet to see such a thread pertaining to the dumbfrick baws - despite the fact that at least the dad had a few troubles himself.
He's dead. No amount of you crying will bring him back.

What a ridiculous cop out. Did you know the elderly couple that was gunned down in the cemetary in cold blood? If not, why do you care? GTFOOH with this shite.
Yeah, these two stories got the same level of attention.

Unarmed people can still be dangerous.

If none of his history matters why did reporters tell us about his past including playing LB on his HS football team. That has no relevance to him being killed that day. You want it both ways, right? Probably hit in the feels by that touched up picture in the tux from years ago.
No, I don't want it both ways. I thought that was dumb too.

Nothing, just like nothing in Arbery’s past changes the fact that he was murdered by these two idiots.
His point was only one side is attempting to use irrelevant ad hominem as part of their argument, and it’s the side attempting to defend the actions of the accused.
