There are a number of people wanting them to get away, usually under the made up story we should arrest them at the risk of US lives, knowing that the speedboats are faster than our ships... which is the point.

Ok, imagine it is not drug boats that POTUS commie/dem is targeting but legal gun manufacturers that they claim are selling arms to criminals.

What's the better option? Congress? How are they doing these days?
In a perfect world, our "government" would be against the trafficking of drugs, weapons and humans. This perfect world does not exist, and by not existing leaves us with less than perfect options.
I really do understand the what if scenarios... many of us lived the what ifs of unilateral top down government during the covid times. There was no precedent for that but "government" dug in, doubled down and ruled ruthlessly anyway. There is literally nothing stopping them from doing it again. Not a damn thing.
Perfect world is gone. Has been gone.
