Is there something the grocery store has that you can't get somewhere else or have delivered? Or is it just gossiping with the girls at the deli that keeps you going back?

The worst I saw IRL was during the election. Sign said we had to wear a mask. I knew that was illegal but I didn't feel like arguing with a full house in line.
A guy walks in without a mask and they told him to put one on.
Him: 'No.'
Old lady at desk: 'Then you cannot vote.'
He left.
When I got to the front to register I said 'I don't think that was legal.'
The assistant behind her ran to the phone. I voted and walked past the assistant hanging up the phone.
Me: 'What did they say?'
Her: 'You were right. He can vote without a mask.'
Me: 'Too late now.'

Generally, I grow and hunt those things as much as possible. Butcher shops and produce stands supplement as needed (usually when we're traveling).
