We all wanted fast internet. So our local governments offer huge incentives to attract high speed ISPs. They don't continually offer these incentives once a network is built because it's too expensive. This effectively creates government created monopolies. Great job guys!

Fast forward a few years and those monopolies start acting like monopolies and consumers demand protection.

So what does our wonderful government do? They pass consumer protection laws, but being the government, they also tack on things that go beyond consumer protection. Why? Because they are the government, that's why.

So we get a new regimen. A new government. And what does this wonderful government do? Do they remove the bullshite that the previous government added to what everyone wanted? LOLno.

They whore themselves out to the very monopolies that they created and just get rid of everything. Yay!

All the while, here we are, arguing with each other all the across the internet while we all continually just get fricked in the arse by our wonderful government over and over again.

Like I said, this comes down to who you trust more to "regulate" the internet, the government or the free market.

I'll take the free market.

Well. You are wrong too. This isn't a free market.

Ding Ding Ding.

If the bill simply said "Treat all traffic the same," then this is a different discussion.

There is no free market is what you retards don’t understand. Today one of the Big Six was largely eliminated, so now we have the Big Five. This is an Oligarchy that frick you over and then taunt you for it.

So really what it is a frick up government vs 80 greedy people in 5 board rooms across the country. I will take incompetence over maliciousness every time.

The government is just incompetent. I think Comcast is intentionally incompetent to frick with their consumers and piss them off. I’m almost sure this is what Comcast’s Board of Directors looks like:

So sick and tired of all you fricktards railing against the government.

The government is made up of elected officials YOU voted for. The government IS the people.

Now, granted, the people YOU elected were certainly already doing fricked up things before Trump came along.

But don’t act like this NN repeal isn’t on Trump and the government that HE put into place. Obama, under his government subdued it. Trump welcomed it.

Your OP is nothing more than a subtle defense for Trump policies, under the guise of ‘government is always fricking up’ rhetoric.

Not at all clever. And you have become quite the Trump sycophant

For two or three people here, sure, but the majority of these people are simply going to parrot whatever Trump says. If he was for NN, they'd change their tune in an instant.
