I don't get this thinking. Do we honestly think viewers aren't smart enough to know that the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants are decent enough people, but also know that examples like in this ad are also simultaneously true? Everything has positive and negatives effects, and generations of lying about and suppressing the negatives of illegal immigration, while only promoting the positives, got us to where we are today.
No more lying. People care about immigration. It impacts wages, welfare systems, and public resources. It's time to do something about it, and it's time to know everything about it. And I say that as someone that has hired illegal labor and used more than one type of drug that has come from south of the border. I'm not innocent in the issue, but I know the system needs to change.

I don't get how it's "racist". I don't see how one wouldn't find it alarming that a group of 7,000 people have massed to travel 1,000s of miles through a country that could provide asylum or a refugee camp (refugees from crime?) to get to the US.
