And at a time where people are dying for sports to watch. This should open some eyes

How? All things being equal, they should have expected a decent INCREASE in viewership due to all the folks at home, and all the sports that was cancelled, i.e. fans starving for sports on TV.

A 23% decrease is, in reality, a 40% decrease from what could have been, if this was in fact, about BASKETBALL!!

On the MSB, the thread for Saturday’s games (three total games, including the Lakers and Lebron) was 10 total pages.

No one I know is watching or talking about it and I see no chatter. Normally any Lebron playoff game would dominate the MSB by itself.

I used to watch every playoff game and I have wanted 0 hours so far

Only 23%? I was hoping for more to be honest but hope football has the same fate.

Corona stops folks from watching TV? Since fans are home more, you'd think ratings would be up.

Unless it was something else...

I completely agree that people have tuned out, I have, but how much does having all the bars closed and limited restaurants effect the ratings?

Feel sorry for the young guys in this stupid saga. They're trying to earn playing time and idiots like Lebron are stifling that.

Plenty of states have bars and restaurants open, and if you would got to a bar to watch NBA and drop $50 on beer and snacks, why wouldn't you do that at home for much cheaper?
