I don’t really care, but It was reported earlier that if a player chooses not to use a word or phrase from the approved list, their last name will be displayed as usual. Call that whatever you want.

I will not be watching, so of no importance to me. Just have followed this from the political angle. They are going to have BLM painted in the court. Might as well state “Marxist”

Yes except for him...and literally anyone else in the league that doesn't want to use one of the messages.

But other than that group, they ALL have to have a message on the back of their jerseys.

Instead of words, can one of the players opt to put this on the back of their jersey? (You might have to be old like me to get it)

Yes, I call that being able to opt out. Aka the opposite of what OP stated.
