ONE female has made it through RASP 2 to join the Ranger Regiment and that is cake walk compared to BUDS training.

I think the fundamental problem is that most people involved in these discussions know that females perform at a lower level than men, they just don't realize that the difference is ENORMOUS.
That's why people get pissed when someone like McEnroe says Williams would be like 700th on the men's tour even though SHE agrees with him.
They just want to believe that it's closer than that. It just isn't.
Every year, multiple high school boys run a faster mile than the women's world record that has held for like 20 years.

and I pointed out the difference to having the recourses on base that you can use on your own time
To having hired former operators and coaches to spend all their time working with females to get them even close to the standard.

Financially, there is little difference.
Actually, that's not true. It costs a lot more money to have personal trainers available at base gyms for the fat people.

It's really a simple proposition.
The people with the greatest chance of success at Seal/Ranger/whatever school should be the ones selected.
Given that the first 500 men AFTER the ones already selected STILL have a greater chance of success than ANY females selected is all that one needs to know to answer the question based on reality rather than emotion.

What exactly are you arguing here? I earned a Ranger tab way back in the day , and though the training has changed some I can tell you one inescepable truth, most MEN do not finish these type selection courses, and we're not talking fat boys here, fat boys don't get a shot at the Rangers, or Seals, or Green Berets, or Sniper Recon or any other special operators. They've been weeded out long before .
So saying "well fat men get a chance" is just wrong. no fat men don't get a chance to be a SEAL, or a Ranger, or what have you.
Even the most highly physically fit male Olympian would find it tough to meet the standards in the special operators community, let alone women. If you haven't been through any of the courses, you don't realize how brutal they are.
