For their society, yep. But what they are doing is incompatible with our constitution.

Then the KSA would have an insider threat which was a part of the same post you conveniently left out.

The KSA is led by a monarch who controls everything and just a year ago killed and dismembered a US journalist. Then lied about it.

ETA: took out Trump stuff. While he defends them, this is about MBS and KSA.

While it has some defenders on this board, I am pretty sure the consensus is that the KSA is hardly a nation we should be such close allies with. They are the biggest supporter of terrorism on the planet. Iran doesn't hold a candle to them.

I’m not defending KSA’s morales here, obviously they are shitty. Killing a journalist who could expose things in their government and covering for it is on a different level than ordering a terrorist attack on US soil while their asset was in KSA military uniform with no alibi. One is pure corruption and the other is fricking retarded.

ETA: All I am saying is that if the KSA ordered this it would be suicide and they are smart enough to realize that. Their adversaries are drooling at this situation because they know there’s a real possibility of KSA being fricked.

No, it doesn’t. But let’s not conflate that with the re-education camps China uses to eliminate extremism. It’s not something we can do here.

You do realize that Saudi F-15 pilots have been bombing the shite out of Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen for years, don't you? Not every muslim is a terrorist.
When I worked in the API office at NAS Pensacola back in the 90's, we had international students from all over, especially Kuwait as we tried to rebuild their Air Force. (Unfortunately, all the ones they sent us couldn't swim!)
Green on Blue is just a reality in that part of the world. When you have Wahabbist clerics telling everyone that all Americans are evil, you never know when they are going to get through to one of them. The best you can do is to NOT give in to prejudice and bigotry. Take people as they are. But don't drop your guard either. RIP to those who were lost.

I don't know you, so I'll assume you're not a threat. But as soon as your hand goes to your hip, I will drop you.
