They go up in 10 to 15 cent increments here. Don't bother with 5 cents a day.

You’ll get an EV whether you like it or not.

It’s amazing how many dubious alternative energy technologies all of the sudden become viable when the energy market is manipulated to drive oil prices as high as possible.

Considerably more than a comparable ICE vehicle, with less range and higher repair costs. Ever try to get collision parts for a Tesla?

But when you make gas $6-8 per gallon, all of the sudden the economics make sense.

I don't see how the general public can afford a EV.

I just bought my wife a new car and looked at EV's. I loved the Tesla, but I did not want to pay 60 grand. They are way to high for a mid-range car.

I worked for a small country store when I was 15 or so. We sold gas. Back then gas would only fluctuate about 3-4 cents a year. Again 3-4 cents a year. I seen the invoices from the gas suppliers. It’s unbelievable how it jumps around now. We could be having 1.89 a gallon gas but for some reason we won’t pump the petroleum here.

In this context, is it frick things up and us get there or frick up what everyone is expecting, to get there, and it not make it to $5?

The local news in my area WTVD reported this morning that the average price for reg. unleaded gas in NC is $4.52 gal.
The average for Raleigh @ $4.50, Fayetteville @ $4.54 and Durham the same as the State average @ $4.52. I was in Bucks Co. Pa over the Memorial Day weekend and just eyeballing gas prices while I was up there, reg. unleaded was at $4.89. a gal. My Stepfather had a gas station in Raleigh in the mid-sixties and I remember gas being at .24 a gallon. My WAG for when we see $5.00 National average for a gallon of gas, Mid June. May see $6.00 average by 4th July weekend.

Economy is slowly grinding to a stop. Out on Goodwood Blvd. ,on a Sunday afternoon, the traffic was non existent.
Monday morning traffic on Airline Hwy. was light, true school is out.
