Washington Examiner
The National Archives and Records Administration says it is still missing records from former President Donald Trump's White House that were supposed to be turned over at the end of his term.
The agency's admission came in a letter dated Friday, but released Saturday, from NARA archivist Debra Steidel Wall to the House Oversight and Reform Committee's Chairwoman, Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY). Maloney had written to the National Archives in September to ask about presidential records that remain unaccounted for after the August raid of Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, which produced scores of documents but raised the question of if other materials were still missing.
TRUMP DEPOSITION DELAYED AFTER HE REFUSED TO RELOCATE FROM MAR-A-LAGO DESPITE HURRICANE
“While there is no easy way to establish absolute accountability, we do know that we do not have custody of everything we should,” Archivist Debra Steidel Wall said, going on to reference official Trump administration business that was conducted "using non-official electronic messaging accounts that were not copied or forwarded into their official electronic messaging accounts."
The immediate staff of the president, vice president, as well as anyone who advises the president are required under the Presidential Records Act to submit communications relating to official duties to the National Archives.
Steidel Wall said that the Archives has successfully retrieved some of those materials, though not all, before revealing that NARA would involve the Justice Department in certain circumstances.
"NARA has been able to obtain such records from a number of former officials and will continue to pursue the return of similar types of Presidential records from former officials," the archivist wrote. "As appropriate, NARA would consult with the Department of Justice on whether ‘to initiate an action for the recovery of records unlawfully removed,’ as established under the Federal Records Act."
It is not clear if Steidel Wall is referring to former Trump adviser Peter Navarro, who has refused to turn over materials from his unofficial account without legal immunity and is being sued by the Justice Department for the messages, or others whom are not yet known to have withheld documents.
When was Susan Rice, Sally Yates, HRC & Eric Holder & many others raided by the FBI with leg chains for their phones... Because they may have had cabinet business on their phones?
Did NARA notify the DOJ for any other former Presidents?
While we are at it how many former Presidents got the WH lawyers & personal lawyers privileges revoked?

They've been through the files taken from Mar A Lago and checked? They have had access?

The national archives has no recourse.
The former president decides what is personal and what is presidential.
The archives can cry all they want. If the former president said no, they are out of luck.
At least that is how it is supposed to work and still works that way for the democrats.
Obviously omb, so different rules.

Probably means they havent found exactly what they're searching for. Something incriminating I'm sure.

Doubtful. They have a hotline to the J6th Committee. The J6th committee sent NARA a letter inquiring if they got every little thing they wanted.
I don't think it is the J6th Committees business.
The J6th committee wants all Trump cabinets phone calls that Brennan didn't already give them. They may find something yet...
Also all LIVE colonoscopies of the entire Trump administration.

How many Obama cabinet Presidential business email addresses did WikiLeaks reveal?
Obama and his cabinet/VP did plenty of Presidential business on their personal phones
Were they raided by the FBI for the Presidential business WikiLeaks exposed?

Raids work both ways. A precedent has been set. I would just let word filter out that the Dems and the J6 outfit are about to start going off into the sunset. and when they do a lot of people are subject to be raided for evidence of the conspiracy that is obviously underway.

No.
When the National Archives is being used as a political bludgeon, it's time for a reckoning.

All of it, another orchestrated hoax. They figure if they keep throwing stuff at Donald Trump the voters will come to believe if Trump keeps getting hit with all these accusations then there must be some validity to all this.
Bastards must have a lot to hide. An assortment of perverts, groomers, thieves, crooks, and baby killers.

The whole thing is clearly illegal. The Slick Willy case is precedent, its law.
I'd fire off a letter to The Archives and let them know they are in violation of settled Federal Law, citing this and executive orders issued by other Presidents on the matter.
Raid me at your peril,, because you won't always have a friendly DOJ to protect you and 4 AM raids can be in your future for conspiracy.

This is malarkey.
What they're saying [without actually saying it] is they're 'missing' whatever it is they haven't 'found' yet.
They're desperate for that little something that will allow them to frogmarch Trump.

I’m glad Ms Wall signed the letter. Add her name to the Gitmo list.

A former official of NARA admitted that they never got everything catalogued before Trump left office. Sooooo.....
If you dont know what you are supposed to have htf do you know what is missing...YOU DONT.
So its the same ole "prove you didnt do something that you didnt do" which is not possible and they know it.
This is quite tiresome, particularly when the country is falling apart and this is the focus of the "leadership" of the country.
I do hope this shows what lengths THE ENTIRE BUREAUCRACY OF THE FEDERAL GOVT, ALL BRANCHES AND DEPTS, will go to to ensure the big machine is not affected by an outsider.

Actually I think its just the opposite. I know several people that are not Trump fans, who are now questioning just what the govt is so scared about him for.
I believe its the opposite. Think about it, the US govt has caught most criminals, yet every branch of govt, limitless resources, access to all his personal information, six years, and nothing. Worse than nothing, several of the investigations have been proven to be nothing short of elaborate, failed, plans to fabricate evidence. And now the US is falling apart and they are still still focused on this nonsense.

The way to stop and end this crap for good is when you take power again LOCK THEM UP.
The Dems and their pawns do these things because there are no consequences. We all know there's all kinds of communication flying back and forth behind the scenes, and that is called a conspiracy.
Indict and convict them for it, and this will stop. Should the GOP take back the House you can set the stage for it by hauling them in front of committees and getting the evidence.
