Doubt it.
But just for discussion's sake, let's say there was a person out there who was an extreme right wing loony, why not kidnap Savannah Guthrie rather than her mother? Any competent criminal should understand the more valuable victim would be Savannah herself and not some old woman who would likely die from the trauma related to the kidnapping.
