BUT
it is impossible for a white person to represent the interests of black constituents?
This is what the people upset by this Supreme Court ruling must concede they believe in order for this decision to upset them.
They have to say out loud that they believe only a black person can effectively represent black people and they must explain why this is the case.

If only a black person can represent black people then they shouldnt vote for white people. But they keep voting for rich white people who claim to support them .

Just for fun, they must also explain which issues of importance to black voters can only be effectively legislated by black representatives.
Bonus for an explanation of which abilities or skills these black representatives have which is solely dependent on their skin color that makes them uniquely suited to represent other black people.

Right. What is it that they understand that only black people can understand? And the question is even more interesting in light of the fact that the constituents can communicate their desires to the representative. So really they just have to carry out the will of the constituents on most issues, so the “thinking black” thing will rarely come into play.

thing is, if you actually look at black democrats, they do not give a shite about white people and when they say anything about them it is usually to revile them
