Simple fact, Gruber.

How is that relevant to anything I said?

Get ready for a blast about unions and other irrelevant topics from the this high functioning autistic person.
He has in this thread called all teachers scum, claimed we all went on beach vacations, do not want to teach, and other stupid claims.

It's what teachers unions across the country are arguing.
Teachers unions protect the incompetent.

Kid was justifiably punished because he failed to listen to the teacher after being given one chance to comply. Sounds VERY reasonable to me.
I'll remember that next time you post in a thread about police not giving a perp enough chances to comply.

Did your child complete the Whites Are Evil section? Just asking.

Telling kids they can disregard authority because they don’t agree with what they are being told is dangerous.
And teaching kids whoever is in authority is always correct is equally as dangerous.

The whole pulled it down to talk sounds like bull shite. You can hear through a mask just fine especially in close proximity. The other kids in the class didn't have an issue.
As someone who works in the medical field I routinely get patients (of all ages) asking me to repeat myself because my answer/instructions were not understood. I never had this issue pre-mask.

People raise their children the way they want, but I wouldn't want my kids around kids that were raised that way.
I hope your a mother and not a father. It'd be a shame to have two pussies raising your kids.

During lockdown I drove a bus for free delivering food to low income students so they would have breakfast and lunch
You think you're helping the kids, but what they are learning is that fricking off leads to free shite.

They likely could feed them, but the governments keeps sending them stuff for free. They are then able to use the extra money on cherry flavored smokes and gambling adventures. I would’ve said on phones, but they already have the Obama phones free.

Sorry to hear but that’s the situation we are in now. Kids getting written up at school for mask violations is better then no classes. Teacher is probably getting push back from above to enforce masks rules.
I really wouldn’t worry about it and water under the bridge IMO

Are you fricking serious?
Everywhere I go with my mask on, people ask me to repeat what I’m saying. I ask people wearing masks to repeat what they’re saying.

Our district does this already. We give snack packs for the weekend and feed kids at 5 pm in our after school programs that the teachers run for free, because we are at a 99% free lunch and 92% below poverty district
But this clown BiteMe only thinks teachers only want vacations and unions

No incentive for the parents to do much patenting. They also get SNAP food benefits. This cycle will never break.

Well when you work in a district that is the poorest and most meth riddled in the state, you have to try to do something to make sure the kids have a chance to escape a dying town and aren't going home hungry.
I have had to explain to Mama multiple times why there are receipts for clothes, shoes, and bedding that are not for us. She gets it, but she does not always like it. I completely get where she is coming from as well. I could go to a big 4 district easily, but I do not want to abandon what I have started in this district yet. When my son gets older (Middle School) I probably will go to teach in his district.

I am not faulting you though, rather this semiotics notion that tossing money at a situation is always the means to fix it.

Agreed, but have these programs helped at all?
Constantly increasing government dependence has only worsened these communities.
I'm not saying let children starve (obviously) but that's only putting a bandaid over the wound, and if anything has taught other parents that the government will pick up their slack so they can stop being parents too.
