This drags on for months.

What happens when the money runs out for millions upon millions of Americans and they become desperate to feed themselves or their families?

Desperation drives men to do desperate things. Lawlessness will abound.

Anything past June and it may very well be unrecoverable as far as keeping the country together in any recognizable form

True but a couple thousand dollars every few months won’t cut it in this country.

People will adapt. Start taking on jobs that are still around.

The amount of businesses that can still turn a profit vs the amount of people who will need work are not going to be even close to the same if things stay like this.

This honestly will not even be remotely close to an option. Great Depression 2.0 in a big way.

And what, pray tell, jobs will those be? And what will happen when 40 or 50 million are going for a few million jobs?

You need velocity to even begin to think about recovering just a piece of the pre-crisis employment. Like completely lifted restriction kind of velocity.

Should be on low side of the curve by May 1. If not, then get worried. For now prepare yourself, plant a garden, stock up on canned goods. If things clear up by May, then Worst case you won't have to buy much food for a few months.

Robbery comes before murder. A lot of people today however have no regard for human life and we go directly to killing each other. Most of the people living in poverty are already broke by now and will run out of food soon.
