Texas senators should be leading the way to displace this a$$hole but they are both pussies
I hear no lies in this post.

My point is multiple makes it sound like there’s a groundswell to do something when in fact two in the house means nothing.
Yea. The media does the same shite with "bipartisan" bills.
Just busting balls and being a smartass.

Is there something wrong with Trump hoping that the guy will do a good job?
This isn't some sort of flex.

Spot on Boot! I voted for Paxton in the primary… but I will be bringing along my wife and son to vote for Paxton in the run-off.
I’ll do the same when Cruz comes up for reelection

This bastard will not get my vote again (I live in SD).
I am also supporting Mike Rounds challenger in the primary this year: Justin McNeal.

This is a testament that disgust for our politicians is unifying!

Finally. What about Senate Republicans? Where the frick are they?
Posted on 3/29/26 at 8:12 pm to cajunangelle
Burchett has been on fire about Thune for quite some time now. He hasn't shyed away from criticisms of Johnson, either. Unfortunately, the Senate GOPe is 100% Swamp, and they will protect Thune because he's like them.
Burchett is truly and legitimately one of the few "good guys" in Congress and he has been consistent and unwavering. He'll make an awesome Senator one day. Maybe even more. Wish we had even one person in his likeness in Oklahoma, but I'm happy for you TN folks.

Randall Stevens is correct. That was why he was installed as Senate Majority Leader by the Turtle and his GOPe Never-Trumper cabal.

Yup. I’m old enough to remember that there was a lot of concern and resistance when it was determined that he would be majority leader.
Yup. I was one of those expressing concern… and anger about it. It was obvious what was going on.

He’s been Turtle’s boy toy for years now. That’s why he is where he is.

They don’t have anything on him. He is team Deep State/Uniparty all the way.

Yeah dude, Trump was trying to play nice with him. This isn’t some gotcha. Nerd.
Thune publicly warned Trump to “stay out of it,” when the Senate Majority Leader vote was going on. Do you not understand how politics work? JFC

At someone point Trump needs to just force the issue and go ahead and sign an EO on it, even if the Senate still hasn't done shite with it.
I believe that is the reason the FBI seized files in Georgia and Arizona. They will probably move on some other states as well. If they prove the fraud we all know exists, then they will take it to the supreme court.
Its not an argument over States rights and elections, its a violation of my Civil Rights. If a false vote is cast in Georgia, it negates my vote, where ever I live.
Kennedy used that reason to call out the national guard to protect blacks voting. I want Trump to do it to protect ALL people's civil rights.

Sidenote: how many on this board called tCTH and Sundance a nuthouse?
For way over a decade-he called the turtle/Thune thing and the GOP being diplomatic- fake-Judas clowns. AKA the GOPe.
