Per Wiki, a public individual (celebrity, politician, etc) can’t sue for incorrect information unless it is shown that the outlet knew it was false or showed a reckless disregard for the truth.
Given that Buzzfeed didn’t see the evidence supporting their accusations, that may meet the standard for “reckless disregard for the truth.”

Considering how badly Buzzfeed got caught with its pants down, I think there is one.
Real question is whether Trump wants to pour the time and resources into keeping this story alive.
He’s enough of a troll that I think he’d do it if only to find a way to make multiple outlets admit they fricked up in reporting it.
