If you are speaking of Kislyak, Everybody in Washington was speaking with him. He's like a party hound on the Washington party circuit. He was at both conventions as were ambassadors from about 20 other countries, so yeah, I'm sure trump team members had a chance and opportunity to shake hands with him.

There is a way to end all of this without touching Mueller or Trump firing him outright. Trump just needs to fire Rosenstein and appoint the AAG as acting DAG. Then the acting DAG calls Mueller into his office and tells them you can investigate only whether the Russians interfered in the 2016 election. No more chartered fishing trips outside the 12 mile limit for you Bob

This has been bothering me all day. I call In a Poli Board Lawyer phone a friend. If any person, even the POTUS, his family members or staff members have private records requested that have nothing to do with anything CANT THEY JUST FREAKING OBJECT?
If a subpoena is issued to a financial institution for your private financial records, I was under the impression that the bank did not have to release this info, and in fact was prohibited from releasing it, unless there was “good cause” actually shown - not alleged. Shown. For its release.
Plus - the bank or the account owner would have to object first, and absent some kind of agreement, have a judge rule. who the hell rules on this? Maxine Waters? Where is the dude in the black robe?
This is why the whole thing S.C. thing is completely bonkers. And scary. There is no safeguard to ensure these targets ANY OF THEM have any legal protections. This is just due process problem after due process problem after 4th Amendment Problem.
This whole thing is a shite show.

Guess the Trumps should have considered running their mouths publicly about their immense business ties to Russia before hiring snaky campaign members with shady ties to Russia (which they of course lied about). I, for one, can't wait to see the financial ties.
