Trump needs to learn not to burn bridges with conservatives that criticize him. Now guys like Massie who always vote no I understand but Trump goes after anyone who criticizes him. Trumps biggest weakness is his ego and need to be praised and have loyal yes men. It’s causing him to drift away from some of his original maga platform as he pushes away many of the true MAGA patriots and they’re slowly being purged from influence.
Those of us who are MAGA are loyal to the idea of America First, not to Trump specifically. We love what Trump has done overall but he needs to listen to us when there is rightful criticism, not attack us. It’s our job as voters in the movement to hold him and other elected officials accountable when they do things that aren’t America first. Trump and Congress work for us, the people who put them there. We don’t want democrats to win in 2026. But many of us feel things are starting to go the wrong way and if the course isn’t corrected then low propensity maga voters won’t turn out for midterms if they feel neglected and Democrats will win. And then it’s a two year lame duck.
It’s time to mend the fences, eliminate the filibuster and push through America first legislation that overhauls election laws, cuts spending, cuts regulations, addresses executive authority on tariffs (give Trump the authority to impose blanket tariffs). The left is using activist judges to stall the agenda until midterms. Congress can fix all that through legislation if they’d eliminate the filibuster. Do your damn jobs Congress, and Trump start governing and listening to maga conservatives and build support in Congress to get things done. We want sound governance, not a reality drama tv show

MTG is positioning herself. She thinks this whole thing is gonna crash eventually and the ones that jumped off first will be the “noble” ones and will have a chance to continue their political career and whoever sticks with Trump will be Liz Chaney’s “dishonorable” ones when Trump is gone.

I don’t know when the switch flipped, but it’s clear Greene is positioning her stance as prioritizing Epstein victims and America First policies over personal loyalty to Trump. Obviously, this is sparking divided replies that reflect GOP fractures between transparency advocates and administration supporters. And it’s only going to get worse as the divide widens.
