I read
And I say not on their hip. Concealed is slightly different but I’m still more of a fan of combo locked boxes. To each his own
There are a lot of high schools, some worse than others. There will be fights, there will be high tension moments, there will be gunfire inevitably at some point IMO.
You can keep the benefit of deterring would be shooters while negating the risk of gunfire in spontaneous altercations through a lockbox. Once again, IMO
ETA: There are schools where conceal and carry wouldn’t be an issue, so it’s not like it can’t work fine. But then there are schools with a much higher chance of incident. All situations are not equal, I don’t think conceal carry for teachers is the solution for all schools.

They would carry the gun in a shoulder holster so that no one knows they are carrying it.
If the gun is concealed then maybe a student would think twice before starting a fight with any teacher.

There are schools that would be well served to have navy seals patrolling the halls. Most schools, however, would be fine with school personnel conceal carrying. The trick would be to let it be known the school is armed, but not advertise who is carrying.

Probably much higher if they say 73%.
When MSNBC votes positive for a Trump suggestion it’s a political earthquake
Democrats have to be shaking

If shooting erupts in my grandkids school. You bet your arse I want their teachers to have a chance of protecting them. Work out the details intelligently, and DO IT!

Will never happen. Heck in the south some parents won’t like the fact that one of their kids teachers is black and carries a gun much less what if the teacher might be a gay with a gun! Aw hell naw!!
Does it hurt to be that stupid?

At the very least a lockbox with fingerprint scan under each desk. If you have a gun, lock it up when you get in your class and remove at the end of the day. Not difficult.
