My very similar observation is the MSM largely sets what the "official" truth is, the version to be used for comparison and "fact check" purposes. This immediately injects bias and loses any real sense of independence. Also the MSM (and left) has a very loose definition of what a lie is. Disagreement in matters of opinion are deemed lies, unintentional errors/mistakes are deemed lies, exaggerations that dont alter the central contention are deemed lies. All of which is highly erroneous and dishonest.
ETA...and intentional avoidance of context, as you mentioned. That too, very much.

The liberal press thinks it’s a part of the democrat party and is responsible for getting them elected, like a political action committee.
The liberal press pushes propaganda with a purpose. They are backed by a conglomerate of Jewish groups that are pushing Globalization with them at the head, global bankers wanting to control the world financial system and communist china’s And Russia’s intelligence communities all with the mutual interest of rewriting history away from freedom and independence to a system like in China where people are only serfs to the new Lords, the party members.

When Joe Wilson said "You lie", there was no doubt Obama was in fact lying. None. Yet the MSM story was all about the audacity of a Congressman making the claim.
Drinking from toilets, concentration camps, separation of child migrants from supposed parents (aka human traffickers), anti-semitism, etc receive little but positive MSM coverage. House impotence, dem refusal to take up the USMCA, corruption in pursuit of the Russian probe, etc . . . . little or no coverage.
MSM coverage of Trump is >90% negative. By comparison, his public job approval is at 50%. You say the MSM has "always" been this way? BS!
I've seen nothing remotely comparable. Not even at the height of Watergate. It is sickening.

The Media has been granted special privileges under the Constitution. They are supposed to tell the truth and be as accurate as possible with the facts. Opinion should be labeled as opinion.
Politicians have always spun info to their advantage.
Which lie are you referring. Many things he said he was going to do have been thwarted by Swamp dwellers. Its just taken more time than he anticipated. He is new to politics.
