Ms. Lindsey offers Hearings on Ukraine separate from Impeachment

Ms. Lindsey (or maybe he’s based Lindsey in this case) has offered to have Rudy testify about the Ukraine nonsense outside of Impeachment. I think this is an interesting strategy, and could certainly result in the testimony of Hunter Biden and Joe Biden, which I find to be crucial.

Ordinarily I think that Congressional Hearings are a total fricking waste of time. However, in this case, I kind of like it.
1) trump is battling a propaganda war of leftists speaking debunkness of “Ukraine conspiracy theories” into existence. Rudy could expose these assholes thru a senate hearing (esp if more witnesses than Rudy are called). And no reason it would have to be ltd to Ukraine itself, or just the Biden’s (Cuz frick John Kerry, his loser stepson, and Kerry’s traitorous dealings with Iran).
2) This would allow a quick trial of these ludicrous impeachment charges. The benefits of trying quickly is that it won’t detract from Trump’s true accomplishments (trade/economy, et al), in a way that provides NO credibility to this horseshite nonsense the Ds will impeach him on. It will allow Trump to campaign on accomplishments IN ADDITION TO Democrats are lunatics. However, Trump should maintain the ability to capitalize on how badly the Ds have discredited themselves and expose how corrupt the really are. I say they do a quick trial by calling the Eric Whistleblower Ciamarella, the budget guy that the Ds didn’t call in public bc what he said was probably really bad for them, Adam Schiff and Mr. Vindman; but rely on the dumb testimony of the idiot knowldgeless bureaucrats and left wing law professors, with Justice Roberts excluding all the hearsay nonsense.
That way Trump provides evidence to the jurors, and more significantly the public, of what a sham the House process was, and also provides exculpatory evidence. With this strategy, Trump could get a dismissal of impeachment and an acquittal as a result within a wk. This means the Ds wouldn’t even be able to use the stupid scarlet letter “I” tattoo to campaign against Trump.
Ms. Lindsey could start his judiciary hearings sometime around March and extend them thru the summer to make sure all the Deep State shenanigans remains front and center during election season.
3) None of the above would stop Durham or Barr from prosecuting the bad actors and I know many of my fellow PoliBaws don’t believe, but I truly trust Barr to make sure the guilty are prosecuted.

I've got reservations about Lindz as well. But what to make of the audacious statement that his mind is already made up as far as his vote is concerned? It's drawn considerable ire from the left.

I could see ms. lindsey doing this if he already knows that the fuse is already lit.(grandstanding). That being said, I would bet that this is already being looked at.. The feds, at some point, are going to have to redeem themselves, publicly. Im not saying it will be this but at some point, they have to un-frick themselves

Watched a piece on OAN this morning, Rudy, and what he's got. He's loaded. And he has 3 high up Ukrainians with the Books to back up assertions. If this stuff is introduced into the public record, it will be virtually impossible to ignore it and remain credible to all but those who are willfully delusional with TDS.
I think a whole lot of High Ups in DOJ and Intel are going down. Barr knows this is like a cancer...either cut out the disease or it spreads. It will suffice that Obama will be like OJ...free pass, but guilty as sin in the minds of honest folk. Let him lay up on Martha's Vineyard and ponder that for the duration...while his peers and operatives go behind bars.
Graham will do what Horrowitz did...deliver the facts...and leave it to the Prosecutors to do their job.

I told you why. Will avoid lending credence to impeachment bullshite by dismissing it, but producing the PR problems for Uniparty once Trump is unimpeached.
Makes the committee hearings seem less of a political stunt and broadens their scope beyond the Ukrainians and Bidens. Iran. China. The Kerrys. The Pelosis. The Romneys. The Clintons. The Bushes.
Not sure Lindsey would really, truly go there. But shite, if he’s controlling the process maybe he can use it to save himself. I’m with several of you above. I don’t all the way trust Ms. Lindsey but he’s fabulous whole the lights are on and cameras are rolling at making a point.
On the other hand Rudy would just about say anything and he would definitely show up with receipts.

If your neck was Trumps you would really trust it and your Presidency to the pubs in not bringing any evidence to the floor that helps your case against being impeached?

Short answer - yes. Long answer under these terms:
I think there should be witnesses (see point 2 in my OP). These witnesses should be ltd to Adam Schiff, and Eric The whistleblower, along with Mr. Lt. Col, to prove that this Impeachment was a manufactured effort. That shite needs to be directly exposed.
I’d also call that guy who works for the Budget Office to testify (as he did in unreleased testimony) that trump held the aid bc he thought Ukraine was corrupt and bc other countries should pay more.
If McConnell has counted heads-those 3 witnesses will not prevent even RINOs from voting to acquit Trump, and in fact would support acquittal. It may even back a few Democrats into the corner to acquit, based on how badly they embarrass Eric, Vindman and Schifforbrains.
All the other “witnesses” have already testified to Congress, and half the shite they said wouldn’t be admissible. Roberts would have no choice to exclude the hearsay and speculation of these witnesses. In fact the only parts of the HR testimony that is admissible are the parts where they testify that they have no evidence that Trump conditioned aid or otherwise did anything wrong.
Yes. If I’m Trump, or advising him - my advice is to give McConnell the green light to proceed as above in exchange for actually seeing the scheduled dates for the Judiciary Committee Hearings on the calendar. He wins the legal and political battle that way.

Why do people think this way? Yes the media is totally fake in their actions but remember, they have been pushing the impeachment narrative all along. During the Senate trial, the media will be covering it like the OJ Simpson trial. The reason, because they have been painting this picture of OMB. They won’t be able to help themselves. Everyone who has watched the fake news, also is hoping to find that gotcha moment because again OMB. Trump will come out unscathed and the media will cover it because that’s their narrative. Anything to do with Democrat corruption will be displayed for all to see.
