With the cash injection that is being pushed into EV engineering design I would say that this statement won't age well

My district was supposed to get a grant for this but they ultimately didn't.
Weird requirement that they'd have to destroy the diesel buses that these EV's would replace. They could not be repurposed into student transport. I thought that was kind of weird.
It's a nice deal for a district that has buses that are on their last legs and need replacement....and if they can get a local electric cooperative to donate the electricity for charging them. Most school buses have a sub-100 mile route daily so the electric models would be fine. Even if the buses turned out to be unreliable, the district would essentially be postponing a big cost of new diesel buses worst case.

This is barely a drop in the bucket in government spending
With an income of 170K a year your contribution to this would equate to about 5 dollars for the year
Frick you. You are the problem with this country.

This dude probably barely pays any taxes and is bitching about it

Ah, OK, thanks. I'll write this check with a smile on my face now.

Probably take each school district its own substation to power a fleet of school buses. That alone would be a huge expense I would think.

The cost is cheap probably when compared to upkeep and replacement. Plus kids are going to be late this year in MS for class......

"Mom, will you come get me I'm stuck on the side of the road why they charge the school bus?"

Wait until these batteries explode and a bus load of these mouth breathers burn up.

You are truly an idiot.
