Seriously, WTF was going on with Joe this day? And this was one of the more lucid things he said that day.
Has his campaign attempted to do any damage control (realizing the irony of damage control and Joe Biden Campaign in the same sentence).

Freddie Boom Boom Cannon was a rock and roll singer who became famous in the sixties for his songs Palisades Park, Tallahassee Lassie and Way Down Yonder in New Orleans among others. Bet Joe thought Cannon was black. He is not.
