The 1938 Bill forbad dealing with any firearms/ammunition companies even partially owned by Jews.
There was a de facto prohibition, but the 1938 bill only limited ownership by Romani people and other undesirables. The bill specifically limiting Jews from ownership was after Kristallnacht in a separate bill, number RGBI I 1573, while the original bill was RGBI I 265.

With any discussions of the parallels between Modern Democrats and the Nazis (no apologies to Godwin), simply substitute "Jews" with "Conservatives" and you'll have your answer to every question.
Maybe one day you'll tire of being a victim. As far as I'm aware, there have been no specific legal prohibitions as of yet.

We see that sort of purity test being offered up by today's Democrats.
What? Give me an actual bill or something substantative for once.

He spent the better part of two weeks calling Kyle Rittenhouse a murderer, then explaining that everyone was wrong about him calling Kyle Rittenhouse a murderer.
He was (correctly) not convicted of a crime because his actions were legally excused by the doctrine of self-defense. That is how affirmative defenses WORK.
I was among the first to say that he would NOT be convicted on this basis, while the overwhelming majority of you sheep were insisting that he would be railroaded into prison by the vast Kenosha Dem machine.

Vaccine mandates. It failed, but it was targeted at people that didn’t vote for Biden because the Biden voters were all already vaccinated.
During Nuremberg we as a global society decided that forcing medical experiments on people like the Nazis were doing is wrong.

Lots of books have been banned. Ones that use racial language too. Not sure it’s just a nazi thing.
Well it simply wasn't banning from a school or a grade-level. It was burning with the aim of preventing these books from existing. Do you know they did the same thing in Poland, wiping out a massive amount of collected Polish literature regardless of content.

Pretty sure porn is banned in schools, so if you have a kids book showing felatio between an adult and a child, it’s obscene and shouldn’t be in schools.
I mean, I agree, but some of the choices on the banned book list from I think the Texas state rep are curious. Why did the list include the Gale Encyclopedia, and works from John Irving, William Stryon and Claudia Rankine? That list even banned Middlesex by Jeffery Eugenides, which is a book I read when I was a teen. I don't know what the standards are for obscenity if they are including works by Rankine too, as her book isn't obscene in the slightest.

I have no idea. But are they rounding these books up and burning them?
I’m just pointing out not wanting a book on queers practicing pedophilia isn’t the same thing as what the Nazis did.
Now trying to force a medical experiment on people, killing people because they may have a defect, are things Nazis did and are things the Democratic Party has pushed.

I haven't heard that reasoning but okay.
quote:
During Nuremberg we as a global society decided that forcing medical experiments on people like the Nazis were doing is wrong.
But those types of experiments continued for a long time. It was only after the experiment was done and often several years later that ethical questions arose. The one version of the rubella vaccine was tested on orphans in the 1960s, if I recall, but justified to help prevent some of the complications of congenital rubella syndrome, and more specifically in response to two outbreaks in the US and Europe in that time period.
The standards of medical practice are always in flux too. Not only that, the Nuremburg Code itself was not widely adopted in practice for a few decades after it was formulated.

But the justification I'm responding to is the assertion by the OP that it was those specific type of books, i.e. books on human sexuality, that were burned and censored, when the actual practice was far more expansive. Strannix likes to make oblique justifications for the Nazis in particular, and has the gall to say that 'people don't know history.' I was just responding to that, with no reference to localities deciding on what books to keep in their libraries.

Why do you feel it necessary to critique his beliefs?
Is that your purpose in life?
Does it make you feel even more superior?
I’m honestly curious why atheists do this.

The op is literally about the one book though. The mother called a nazi is talking about a specific book. Not the authors you listed which I honestly only know if the one because of Gilbert grape.
I’m literally answering based off this.
The mom is saying that book, that one book, is pornography. That’s what I’m responding to.
This is what we are discussing.
Porn.

A Kentucky media specialist in a senior leadership position defended a book that contained sex imagery—which was challenged by a local mom as "pornography"—by invoking Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

Dr. Lynn Reynolds, the executive director of Library Media Services at Jefferson County Public Schools, expressed her support during a July 28 hearing to keep a book called "Gender Queer" in the district's public school libraries. At one point Dr. Reynolds raised the practice in Hitler's Nazi Germany to burn books as part of her reasoning.
Porn.
